How we work
Roofing goes wrong for homeowners in the same two ways: a price that moves once the scaffold is up, and work you cannot see and cannot check. Here is how we avoid both.
How we quote
We come and look at the roof — from a ladder, and from inside the loft where that helps. You get photos of what we found and a fixed written price, usually within a couple of days. The quote says what the work is, what materials we will use, and what is not included.
How we work
One team, on one job at a time where we can, so your roof is not left open while we disappear to another site. Scaffold from an insured contractor. Skip on the drive only as long as it needs to be. If the weather turns, the roof is made watertight before we leave each day.
Insurance and guarantee
Ask any roofer for their public liability certificate before work starts, and get the workmanship guarantee in writing rather than as a number on a van. We confirm both with your quote, alongside the manufacturer warranty that comes with the materials specified.

What you get, every job
- A written quote with the materials named — slate, membrane, batten gauge, flashing.
- Photos of the problem before you decide anything.
- We stop and check with you before spending money on anything we did not quote for.
- All rubbish taken away. Your gutters left clear.
- Insurance and guarantee terms confirmed in writing with your quote.
The work itself
What each type of job actually looks like on a roof. These are illustrative — a portfolio of our own jobs goes here as it builds up.
